Mr. Chong is a Chartered Accountant, business owner and investor.

Graduated from Kolej Tunku Abdul Rahman, he was admitted as Member of the ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) and then became the Fellow Member (FCCA) of ACCA in 2010. As a member of a professional body, Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA), he is committed to continuous professional development from time to time.

Mr. Chong has extensive and vast practical knowledge, proficiency and expertise in accounting, business and finance matters as he has served various positions; as accounts manager in accounting firms, and as group accountant to group finance manager in various companies including public listed companies in the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia over the past 20 years.

Currently, Mr. Chong is one of the major shareholders of Cytogenomix Sdn Bhd (CGx) and appointed as the Managing Director as well as entrusted by the Board to take care the finance operation. With his years of involvement in the healthcare industry, spanning across different functions within this industry, including handling the finances of a public-listed healthcare group and a genomics company, he has the in-depth experience in overseeing the corporate affairs, finance, legal and general management of CGx.

Mr. Chong also has interest in his own practice where he is the Managing Partner of Chong Accounting PLT and CNPS Advisory PLT.
